Today was overcast which went down badly after two days of sunshine but that's the climate we live in so I just carried on. I made a trip to see my mother and catch up on the family news. We chatted away about this and that and she asked me if I had remembered to modify a small grill and base for her to fit into her small oven/grille/microwave machine. I had of course and remembered to take it so we tried it and it worked perfectly so 1 million brownie points to me and grilled fish for mother for tea.
While I was there my sister Pat turned up. She had been for a check up at the hospital, the first one since her breast lump treatment and she was given the all clear and told to report back in 6 months. Great news it has been a nagging worry.
Back home all was quiet, the cats were off somewhere on a mission and Ellen was still at work so I had some lunch and relaxed for an hour or so. Then the cats returned,Ellen came home from work and the place sprung into life again. It was soon time for so grub and I made a simple dish of baked beans on a bed of Cumberland sausage and potato waffles,Very simple and very tasty.
Tomorrow and Thursday we are promised wall to wall sunshine and warmer temps so hopefully a little trimming around the grass will be possible in the morning leaving me with a free afternoon to lounge and read. I find it is becoming easier to be a layabout,I'll just have to take care in doesn't take over.

Nice to know things are going in the right direction regarding sicknesses and such.
Here was another day like the previous with sun and windy warm weather, had to go to the doc, so not much captured other than a few garden things..
Yes Mickey keep clear of becoming a habitual lazy bones.
Keep fit.
Good job on the grill, your Mum is very lucky to have such a handy son.
Great news for your sister Pat, it must have been a worrying time for all.
