Today is a lot colder,wetter and wilder than yesterdays brief journey into a calm Autumn. Not the day for wandering so I have stayed close to home sorting a few of the little tasks that crop up for time to time.
If you read yesterday about the fridge soup I made,well I am very glad I did today is real soup weather. I had a bowl last night,see photo and very tasty it it too. This morning I blitzed half of the remainder so I can have some in my Number 1 mug for a belly warmer with some crusty bread tonight.
It is time to start thinking of my winter walking clothes and boots, the t shirt and shorts season was very short and sporadic this year I expect the colder one to be much more reliable I just hope the rain stops it's incessant attacks for a few days at least.
The soup isn't on a glass table in the photo that was my doing trying different background techniques, this one needs more work. If you click on the photo you will see I got the parts nearest the bowl wrong
