The plan today was to go over the bridge and find a hearth rug just to set the finishing touch to the room. I am after something bright and cheery and maybe a little weird, well weird suits me.
I decided instead to have a day of doing bugger all after the last two days graft. I pottered around this morning doing the necessary before I had the urge for an egg and bacon flan so set too and baked one for lunch and having pastry let over I knocked 5 jam tarts together as well.
With a lamb stew in the slow cooker that was my work just about over for the day.
I returned to my desk and just caught sight of a coal tit on the bird feeder and just managed to get one shot off before he flew away. Not the best photo but I'll keep my eyes open for him returning, they are a common enough bird but a rare sight in on my feeders.
Now I am settled down in my Noel Coward outfit and ready to watch some footie a little later. Have fun folks and keep warm.
