Cleaning the cleaners

I was emptying and wiping down my carpet sweeper earlier when I realised how much cleaning the things that do our cleaning need.
Vacuum cleaners seem to get as much dust on the outside as on the in and the filters clog up,dusters get dusty,washing up bowls need a regular wash.If you have hard water kettles,washing machines and dishwashers need descaling,tumble driers need de-fluffing,pedal bins need disinfecting,shower heads need the holes de-gunked, the list is endless. I never realised how much time we spend cleaning the things that do our cleaning

You'll have to get a maid to do all these jobs and hopefully she won't be needing de-fluffing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

I think Jenny means one of those "House helps made in Thailand", they only need to be fed, which they of course also cook while cooking for you. lol

It's truly a never ending job...One day you realize that you've plum forgotten to clean things like the top of the fridge (because it's higher than your head and don't see the dust pile) or look at the floor molding and realize they need wiping.. Or the outside window sills have gotten downright grungy looking.. Or between the washer and dryer the floor is a mess... You can't see the dirt, then you put on your glasses and Uggh! Amazing! I should just keep the glasses off!
