Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Amelia clubYour visit is most welcome! The sea on the north side of the island is much more aggressive than that on the south, hence plenty of big waves and, as you say, lots of white foam.
Best Wishes
Peter
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Nick Weall clubI am happy that you have enjoyed it. It was a little colder than the south side, but still much warmer than England!! The rocks receive a regular splashing, and so are pretty well wet all the time. Hence shine!!
Best Wishes
Peter
I couldn't put it better than Amelia! A superb shot with the waves gently lapping the coastline.
Best wishes, Rosa.
Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Rosalyn HilborneYour visit is much appreciated, as ever!
It was a nice beach, pity I couldn't have stayed longer..
The whole island is volcanic, and so no golden sands here!! None the less a nice place to sit and watch the waves. Glad you like it.

As the island is so small, I suppose every visitor must go to the same places!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Gudrun clubThank you so much! I must say that I was very surprised at how white the surf was. The island is volcanic, but I am not sure how the light coloured rock got there!
