Baked-Apple-Confection. The baked-apple mass wouldn't become cuttable - so I created something new. Baked apple with marzipane coating should be fine. The rest will get another load of gellant. Should be possible to make it work!. :)

... wann vier?? --- Kolibri, Du hattest recht! ;) I have no idea why they suddenly choose our area for their flight excercises. This has never happened before!

....ein Flugzeug kömmt. Erst eins... (We have an Advents song in Germany 'Advent, Advent one candle burns. First one, then two, then three, then four - then Christ Child stands in front of your door'. These planes seem to count down toward Christmas...) ;))

... or was he drunk? We wondered about the constant grumbling noise of a big plane in the sky - and I already thought of certain events some weeks ago...

My favourite cookies - 'Spice Cake'. Like the Lemon Slices it is baked on the tray like a cake and cut in slices. Without 'Spice Cake' no Christmas. ;) Next: Beth-Männchen (no gluten). Still in process... ;)

"Scamp" in English. No idea why it is called like that but it is my favourite Xmas cookie. :) The recipe is quite simple - but the whole process of baking and putting the cookies together takes time.

I had to search for an old photo as I couldn't take a picture of the geese that crossed our neighbour's house this morning. They do this every now and then, sometimes heading to the south ... and then you see them return somewhat later ... heading toward the north ... or west ... or wherever. I often wondered what they do when the leader isn't sure where to go. Today I got the answer. The leader suddenly stopped in midair and tried to stay on the spot while the other geese tried to keep their formation. So there were at least seven geese who tried to not ram their flock members from behind, already very close to each other with whirling wings. Gosh,it was so funny to watch! :D Wäre was für Marundes Landleben gewesen! ;)
