Stranger in the woods

You just never know who you might come across in the woods, LOL! This handsome guy was hanging out at Votier's Flats, Fish Creek Park, this morning. It doesn't look like it from my photo, but it was in amongst the trees - never good news for my little camera! As well as this snowman with the big grin, we also saw:

Gyrfalcon-1, gray morph, flying east.
Northern Pygmy-Owl-1, near Raven Rocks.

Blue Jay-1
Black-billed Magpie-6
Common Raven-5+
Black-capped Chickadee-10
White-breasted Nuthatch-3
Bohemian Waxwings-50+
Pine Grosbeak-3
