Anticipation

Rain seems a very distant memory here in the parched desert. After months of relentless scorching sun, a storm is approaching. Thunder rumbles in the distance and the wind begins to rise.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and SMC PENTAX 67 1:4 45mm lens with a HOYA 82mm HMC Y[K2] filter using Kodak TRI-X 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
