APPOITMENT

Blue shadows
rise in volutes,
like the trail left by the smoke
from extinguished candles.
And your body
abandoned in the silence
of what was the delight
of past hours,
keep the smell
of the sanctuary we are:
beings littered with light and darkness,
of quietude and amazement and anxious wings.
Our eyes
speak the birds' language,
when they want coming back to the eaves,
and the gestures we bring
lead us where we want,
in a hurry to cross rivers,
people and thresholds.
That's it.
///
ENCONTRO
Sombras azuis
sobem em volutas,
como o rasto deixado pelo fumo
das velas apagadas.
E o teu corpo,
abandonado no silêncio
do que foi o deleite
das horas passadas,
guarda o cheiro
desse santuário que somos:
seres adejados de luz e treva,
de quietudes e assombros e asas ansiosas.
Os nossos olhos
falam a linguagem dos pássaros,
quando querem recolher-se nos beirais,
e os gestos que trazemos
conduzem-nos onde queremos,
na pressa de atravessar ruas,
gentes e umbrais.
Sem mais.
