When death comes to this home
do not threaten the silence with convulsive crying.
Go to the orchard and pick fruit
press the pears and figs
between your teeth
mentalize all the yellow flowers
caress the tear of absence
lie down on the grass and remember the birds
and the burning wind
between repeated trees
and waters.

Quando a noite chegar a esta casa
não ameaces o silêncio com o choro convulsivo.
Vai até ao pomar e colhe frutos
aperta entre os dentes as peras
e os figos
mentaliza todas as flores amarelas
acaricia a lágrima da ausência
deita-te sobre a relva e lembra-te dos pássaros
e do arder do vento
entre as árvores e as águas
que se repetem.
