The Charlemagne Tower
The Charlemagne Tower is a remnant of an old basilica, since 13 September 1958 it is listed as a historic monument.
It owes its name to the tomb of Luitgarde d'Alémanie, the fourth wife of Charlemagne, who is buried here.

The ground plan of the Charlemagne Tower is approximately 25 × 15 m and 48 m high.
The tower was built in Romanesque style on the lower floors, and in Gothic style on the upper floor.

Wieder ein schönes Bild von dieser Kirche. Ich mag die Details, aber hier sind einige Spalten beschädigt. Es ist schön, wenn sich der Backsteintorbogen so attraktiv macht.
