Unlike the ascent to the Apollon-Temple at the end of May, it was clear from the beginning that this tour would take longer distances over firn fields.

Anders als beim Aufstieg zum Apollon-Tempel Ende Mai, war bei dieser Tour von vornherein klar, dass es längere Strecken über Firnfelder gehen würde.

Genau das ist das Problem auf diesen Altschneefeldern, vor allem bergab.
Hinterher hat man nasse Socken.
