Ab zum Brocken!

Der Zug 8925 hat nach der Ausfahrt in Schierke noch ca. 425 Höhenmeter vor sich. Da kann man gar nicht genug Dampf machen ...

In diesen Tagen musste der Zugverkehr zum Brocken mehrfach eingestellt werden. Wegen des stürmischen Wetters ist es zum einen zu gefährlich und zum anderen haben jetzt gerade umgestürzte Bäume die Gleise unpassierbar gemacht. Es ist eben nicht immer so winterlich romantisch wie Füsun, Peter und ich es an diesem Tag erleben konnten.

Bin immer noch sprachlos über eure sportliche Leistung.
Während der Fahrt abspringen, vorlaufen zum Fotospot, Stativ ausbauen, warten biss der Zug kommt und nach der Aufnahme alles zusammen packen und hinterher spurten :-)!

Ohne Auto geht das wirklich nicht, wir sind zwischen Wernigerode, Drei Annen Hohne und Schierke hin und her gefahren, um einige Abfahrten zu erwischen. Aber auch mit dem Auto war es manchmal knapp!

Ja, die Erinnerungen kamen mir natürlich auch. Wäre das Wetter zuverlässiger, könnte man für den nächsten Winter ja wieder solch ein Treffen planen. Aber an diesem Wochenende zum Beispiel gab es nur Regen, und die Bahnen hatten den Betrieb wegen des Sturm größtenteils eingestellt.

Es stimmt schon: die Fahrten machen Spaß und von draußen den Bahnen zuschauen auch. Aber die Bahn ist auch sehr wetterabhängig. An diesem Wochenende zum Beispiel wurde der Betrieb größtenteils eingestellt.

Hi Peter, thank you! It was the first time that I tried to make a shot from that point, and yes, that was a good decision. The only problem that i had was that the battery of the camera was low and had to be replaced - just when the train left. Therefore, there are only few shots from that passage and none with you between the cars. You were to the left from this shot, the train was already to far. No wonder, it started like an express train ;-)
