Die Beeren haben durchschnittlich 40.000 SHU ( chili-plants.com/chilisorten/tabasco-chili-pflanze ). Das ist stark, aber deutlich weniger also die hier schon gezeigten Habaneros (100.000 - 300.000 SHU) oder gar die Carolina Reaper mit 1.500.000 -2.500.000 SHU

Thank you Peter - this season, I have a learned that there is a large variety of chili plants and fruits and I was happy to grow a nice selection myself even without significant experience. Now, it's harvest time and I have to think abpout ways to preserve all those fruits ...

Oh, das wird ab November schwierig. Ich habe heute noch einige halbreife reingeholt und mit einem Apfel in einen Karton gelegt. Der Apfel gibt Ethanol ab, das den Reifungsprozess bei den Chilis beschleunigt.
