Portal mit Zahnriemeneinfassung
Auf einem schmalen Plateau, 350 Meter oberhalb der Durance, befindet sich die Benedektinerabtei Ganagobie. Das Portal zur Kirche zeigt eine ungeöhnlich Konstruktion. Eigentlich haben hier mal 5 Arkaden mit mit Kapitelsäulen gestanden. Davon sin nur drei erhalten geblieben. Die anderen beiden bekamen eine Verzierung, die mich an einen Zahnriemen im Auto erinnern.
