Voilà donc la maison au bord du lac, avec la fenêtre que j'ai postée dernièrement. Je n'ai jamais pu avoir d'explications au sujet de l'horloge.

J'ai rencontré ce matin la propriétaire de la maison. L'horloge est alimentée par un petit moulin à eau invisible depuis la rue. Sur la photo du moulin, on distingue le poids en forme de grenouille. La photo de la face sculptée est censée représenter l'esprit du lac voisin, et l'eau jaillit du tuyau qu'elle a dans la bouche. Je n'ai pas la traduction exacte, mais le sens général de la phrase est le suivant: "si l'heure ne vous convient pas, l'eau y pourvoira"
