Madame Bovary is the debut novel of French writer Gustave Flaubert, published in 1856. This was one of the set books for my French/Italian BA. An unhappy but fascinating tale.

Here in Finland, Swedish is a second official language. But to read a book in Swedish would be quite a challenge for me.
