Moliceiro

The moliceiro is a traditional type of boat from the Ria d'Aveiro in Portugal with one mast. It was once used to harvest a mixture of seaweed used as a local fertilizer. It is used today to walk tourists on the canals of the city of Aveiro. Its rich decoration makes it an element of the cultural heritage and the symbol of the Aveiro region.
