Journey North - a site that tracks Monarchs from migration North from Mexico to their Summer locations and back ... if you don't already have it!
You will probably find 'why' they fed as they did !
Hugz,

Pam J club has replied to EefjePam J club has replied to Janet Brien clubI have never seen(except on television) the migration for real till this year. Yes.. in the 7 years I have been in the USA I have seen the odd one or two Monarchs... last year.. 3.... at separate times.... but this year... weird weather... everything late...almost no butterflies of any kind.. then hordes !! THEN.. 20 MONARCHS.... as if the migration route twitched to the side a little.
I know they come in bigger numbers.. but I will never EVER forget MY Monarchs this year.... and quite possibly.. things will change back.. and I will never experience this again.
I am thankful !
