Architecture and street atmosphere which convince me that I must go in India in a very near future before it's too late.

India is always a shock to the senses, isn't it Diana ?This street looks very sedate I must say..
This is the place of birth of Gandhi in 1869 ...(that long ago !) ..before the family moved to Rajkot when he was a small lad ..
I assume it brings in the visitors anyhow ..Always interesting to see :-)

Once you get off the beaten track it is often quite sedate. This is virtually untouristed apart from village Indians who come to see where Gandhiji was born...it's a fascinating little port, still about 50 years out of touch...I love that! I try as much as possible to maximise my time in non tourist areas............
I have an unbounded passion for India and for Patagonia.....;-)
