Rosette Nebula Close up NGC2244.

Rosette Nebula Close up NGC2244.
science.nasa.gov/image-detail/hubble-nebula-bok-display

This is a close up of the center of the Rosette nebula with a slant of trying to get all the Bok Globules that are across the bottom of shot and appear very prominently in the Rosette.

NGC 2244 Rosette Nebula

Once again the Hubble pallet in good use but not trying to get a strong Blue or green in the shot. Once again Narrow band and RGB stars

Once again..awe inspiring…and the amount of work and skill involved just mystifies me, Steve.
Wishing you all the best for the festive season and for 2025.

While I can see why its mystifying having spent 5 years learning AND still learning but its all very logical . You just have to follow the right procedure and it all works ( most of the time) you do get the occasional curve ball that comes your way.

I hope you Christmas is not as hot as we have at the moment 41c is not worth talking about its never nice. All the very best for you and your family..

One a shot from my start in to deep space to one just hot off the press. They cant be more different but they are just the same an image of our part of the sky. Many thanks .

Got to admit that I prefer your 2244 to the NASA one Steve. More spectacular images from your home, of our deep skies. "Well done" does not suffice!

Your 41c is nearly twice as hot as I could stand. You may have stars but at a price in your hot days.

Steve, I wish you and yours;

All the Very Best for Christmas and the New Year.

Thanks Herb those globules we see a lot in deep space its nice to see they have a name and are important. The things we cant see that are important that most will never see and even care about.

The heat this year has been far more intense than it has ever been we can only do one thing get use to it no matter how uncomfortable it is. This is not some thing you can plan or account for.

Many thanks We think of our big family on the other side of the world. We hope you have a great time with family no matter how big or small. I hope that you can get together to enjoy each others company. All the very best from down under.

Thank you I am happy with the detail in shot and the end result. The time is well worth putting into the shot and learning to edit.
