Ex-LMS rebuilt Royal Scot 4-6-0 46115 Scots Guardsman with 1T53, the 15.12 Carlisle to Lancaster Fellsman steam special, has only a few more yards to go before the summit at Ais Gill, 1169 ft (350 m) ASL.

Thanks a lot. It would be a long way for a day trip but fortunately we had spent three days in the Lakes and were heading home.

Thanks Phil.
It looks like WCR has got over its problems with Network Rail. The loco for this rail tour was provided through WCR & I'm on the NELPG Jacobite support crew, also a WRC operation, & the new system seems to be working quite well.
