Street Poster Art (+PiP)

This type of street art is more commonly known as Paste-ups. These posters are all by the artist Roo Arbrook. I found these in Southsea, Hampshire. (More paste-ups by Roo in the PiP). www.rooabrook.co.uk

Bosham Village, West Sussex

Looking across Chichester Harbour from Chidham, West Sussex on a lovely sunny afternoon. Better viewed large, I think.

Pony and Trap (+PiP)

I spotted these two out for a bit of exercise by driving around the harbour at Bosham, West Sussex. The road is normally under water except at low tide. There's another shot in the PiP.

Nigella Seed Heads

Taken indoors in natural light. I used a sheet of brown card as a background and added a texture and vignette in processing. I'm not overly happy with the reflections on the bottle, but I don't think they detract from the photo too much. Probably best viewed large..........

A Single Bloom

Raining and overcast yesterday...........so tabletop photography seemed the way to go. I bought a couple of these little blue vases in a charity shop and the flower came from a bunch given to my wife by her friend. The background was a piece of white card, which I changed to this colour in post processing.

All Saints Church, Hinton Ampner

A view of the church looking along one of the many formal pathways in the gardens. Either sides of the pathway are small orchards and wild flower meadows, and you can see mistletoe growing in the branches on the tree, top right. Best viewed large if you have time. Thanks to everyone who has visited my photo-stream over the past week, especially those who have commented and/or left me a yellow star. Much appreciated :-)
