Age 62: Selfie

The first Flickr 365-daily-photo efforts I was aware of were all self-portrait projects. The first I closely followed was starpixie's--which was creative in ways I hadn't imagined possible (all in all, I just adore Beth, though her Flickr stream's grown dull).

I, on the other hand, rarely photograph myself, and when I do the pix usually turn out stiff and boring. But last February I was using a camera designed for self-portraiture, so for one day I turned the lens my way.

I'm sure I'd be a better photographer if I'd put m'self through a selfie project--I'd learn about effective posing, and I'd likely acquire a bunch of technical tricks I'd find useful elsewhere. But I fear I'm not that interested....
