At the Trail Head

A rare 366 Snaps project photo with people in it! Cheboygan State Park's got a few miles of trails through the woods, plus the long beach along the Straits. All day there are people looking at the maps and wandering into the forest.
This photo, and the 366 Snaps photo of Joan making coffee, were taken without leaving my chair in the campsite. I like vacations.
==========
The trail head photo shows the strengths of my 80-200 mm Nikkor on my D300. I shoot a lot of photographs with this setup; this is why.
By the way, I'm all up to date. This is the first photo I've processed on my new MacBook Air using Corel Aftershot Pro (replacing Bibble Pro) and PSE 11 (replacing PSE 4). Really didn't want to buy a new computer, but my old MBP is failing.
==========
This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
Number of project photos taken: 8
Title of "roll:" Around the Campground
Other photos taken on 8/17/2012: Joan and I went into Cheboygan. First we explored the waterfront, then we parked downtown and just wandered around, taking pictures.
