This photo--taken from Portland's railroad bridge--looks rather different than I expected when I took it, and at first I didn't like it. But it's grown on me....
==========
Daily-photo project shooters need to constantly address two related problems--keeping things fresh, and just finding daily photographic subjects. Up to this point my 366 Snaps had mostly been shot in Mulliken, with an occasional photo in or near Grand Ledge. A very rare pic was taken outside this orbit. While I'm certain I could have continued within these parameters, last March 21 I deliberately went searching for photos somewhere else.
As it happens all of the day's shots were taken along a short stretch near the river just north of Portland's central business district.
==========
This photograph is an outtake from my 2012 photo-a-day project, 366 Snaps.
Number of project photos taken: 43
Title of "roll:" Portland's Railroad Bridge
Other photos taken on 3/21/2012: none.
