A Little Red Corvette that is infamous in Liège. Such a pricey car, and so much rubbish inside. I thought my car was messy, but this takes it to a whole new level

Look carefully - in the middle of the photo you can see a slender old building wedged between all the new ones on the bank of the Meuse river

Rosemary flavoured chips at the picnic - really nice. We also had "real food" (add hash tags as desired)

Legia Cassis-Menthe - yes indeed, that's a beer with blackcurrant and mint! I actually liked it

Pecheresse - a peach lambic fruit beer from Lindemans (a Flemish brewery, not to be confused with the Australian wine company of the same name). I really think someone in Australia should start making fruit beer.

Yes, there are even supermarket "house brands" of beer. A big bottle for €0.81 (that's about an Australian dollar). "Table beer (tafelbier, bière de table) is a low-alcohol (typically not over 1.5%) brew sold in large bottles to be enjoyed with meals. The last decade it has gradually lost popularity due to the growing consumption of soft drinks and bottled water. It comes in blonde or brown versions. Table beer used to be served in school refectories until the 1980s; in the early 21st century, several organizations made proposals to reinstate this custom as the table beer is considered more healthy than soft drinks."

Kasteel Rouge - Eugénie told me it is sometimes called "rape beer" because it is so easy to drink, but is high alcohol. You get the connection...

I was told by François that this is possibly the most lethal beer available. It contains tequila

This is what orange flavoured Fanta looks like in Europe. It is the colour you would get if you made a soft drink with orange juice (even if it probably isn't). I have never understood why our "orange flavoured" Fanta is the colour of these labels
