Belgian beer

A range of local beer at the supermarket in Liège. The beer section itself was, of course (œuf Corse), much much bigger

This is the beer we had the day before at Brasserie {C} in Liège, where it is also brewed

I had this pastry for breakfast and I think it was called Pommes à l'anglaise. Shaped like an apple, with thin slices of glazed apple. From Une Gaufrette Saperlipopette

You can easily see into the apartments opposite if they do not have curtains. F&E said that since they have been here, they have seen (1) one neighbour who likes to not only walk around her apartment naked, but to pose in the windows that way (2) three Polish guys who like to use the toilet right in front of the window, without the curtains, (3) a bloke who likes to wank in front of the window, (4) a couple who like to have her crap on him, also without using curtains. From the street you wouldn't see much of any of that, so it's really just for the neighbours over the road. Ah, Belgium.

At François & Eugénie's apartment. My comfy couch, under a favourite Klimt reproduction.

So pretty but imagine having to face these steps each time you wanted to get home, with no other option. Near the Brasserie {C} with François & Eugénie

It was finally beer o'clock. I had the Amertume 60, followed by an Amertume 90. François had the Black {C}
and Eugénie had the Curtius. We also got a cheese platter

The courtyard of Brasserie {C}, near the Montagne de Bueren. Later we discovered there was a beautiful garden area out the back with a fountain. Next time.

Not sure what the building is, but it was next to the Brasserie {C} where we had beer and snacks
