Photo's / Movies is grey after upload

I have uploaded an image or video. Afterwards when I go into the album to have a look the images as grey with a picture of a disk. The only way I can see how to view the image or video is to download it. Why is that?

Your files where placed in the "Docs" section, because they have not been recognised as video files.

It is not that MOVs are not allowed, as other users do succeed in uploading such files, appearing in their "Photos" section, that are playable.

I suggest that you obtain a format conversion utility, and try re-saving the mov, or perhaps saving as mp4 or avi.
